The interview process is very important for controling the transit of unaccompanied minors (UMs) in Greece. The present study aims to develop and map a corpus of interviews with unaccompanied minors in an office of the Asylum Service in Attica. For this research, the qualitative approach was adopted. The data analyzed consist of fourteen interviews, some of which were collected with the use of participant observation and some of which were given to the researcher by the Asylum Service as interview records. The method of analysis was thematic analysis; Some principle of conversation analysis were also applied. The analysis revealed that the operators adhere to the specific EASO training program templates to conduct the interviews. Operators consistently follow the guidelines for interview techniques provided by the EASO training manual. In order to improve the process, it is proposed to adapt the process for the cases of UMs who have special needs or mental illnesses. as well as to provide psychological support (treatments) and standard training to professionals (supervisions) for their professional advancement and effective crisis management.
