Environmental justice and environmental inequality are two interrelated phenomena that are studied in the context of environmental education. The purpose of the research is to explore the perceptions and attitudes of primary education teachers about the concepts of environmental justice and environmental inequalities, and to explore actions through education to address environmental inequalities. Eleven teachers participated in the research. Data collection was done through conducting individual semi-structured interviews. The interviews were analyzed using the thematic analysis method. The analysis showed that teachers maintain positive perceptions and knowledge about environmental justice and environmental inequalities. Furthermore, the teachers showed positive attitudes towards the integration of the two phenomena in the school environment, as they benefit the students. Teachers also have a positive view of taking action to reduce environmental inequalities. The research concludes that teachers understand the two concepts but need more training to integrate them effectively into environmental education.
